I Use it for the first time cooking with the cast-iron skillet with a great I just made some potato pancakes. It worked great. The build quality is fantastic and it doesn’t use very much charcoal. It’s compact folds up. You can take it anywhere I can cook with a wok On my back porch I’d highly recommend it to anybody a great product .

I liked it, but I always forget to put the filter on it, and honestly it doesn’t really need it. I kind of like it without it since It gives me more space to put charcole in. Also the grill was okay but would have rather it be more squares than just lines for the grill. Did it necessarily need to be a pyramid shape for where the charcoals or wood go? I get the concentration of fire in the middle but it wasn’t even. When I cooked on it I kept having to moving what I was cooking around.

For it's first try, I invited my coworkers for smores in my backyard. I made everyone wear plaid to match the theme. They loved it as a fun team building exercise and the tiny firepit was a huge it. We used extendable marshmallow sticks and firegloves. After the successful evening, I bought the XL firepit as well.

Totally unbiased review . First cook was amazing and heat was very stable . Super easy to adjust grill grate height which is key with direct fire cooking . After cooking I threw some wood on for fire pit . Again stable hot fire . Truly amazing design and I am beyond picky. Well done !

Finally got to use for the first time. What a great device! Packs small and takes up very little space. Very easy to assembly and had fuel burning within seconds. My first impression was that I should have ordered the larger size. That, however became apparently clear that for myself or one other person it's a perfect cook surface. Not sure how much of a warming fire it'll make on those cold mornings. But I'm excited to find out.

Tested it purposely on a cold day and I knew right then it was going to have a permanent place in my truck. I grilled a bison steak, some Shrimp and a lobster tail the first use. Then followed it up with a sizable portion of country style ribs the next day. I’ve cooked with wood and charcoal and absolutely love this convenient grill. My jetboil fuel is going to last much longer now!
